EFL university teachers’ perspectives in written corrective feedback and their actual applications

<p>This study aimed to investigate the English as a foreign language (EFL) university teachers’ perspective and their actual applications in providing written corrective feedback writing errors made by EFL students correlation. The was based on 80 responses of Google-Form survey distributed teachers with various teaching experiences from most parts Indonesia. Correlational design used this research. Descriptive statistics Pearson’s correlation tests were analyze data. results indicated that majority had perspectives it is valuable provide vary strategies feedback. In addition, mostly applied both direct indirect they only sometimes provided corrections all aspects reformulation. It also found out Indonesian students’ highly correlated applications. theoretical pedagogical implications. Theoretically, enriches body knowledge writing. Pedagogically, are suggested improve techniques apply classroom learning process.</p><p> </p>
